• Description of the service: Castelldefels City Council needs to expand the administrative work spaces of the City Council, as well as to improve access to municipal services for citizens and to increase the municipal spaces available for part of the old people of the city. To respond to this need, and taking advantage of the fact that the City Council owns 5 unused commercial premises located at the bottom of the island defined by Dr Trueta and Santiago Russinyol streets, the drafting of the basic project and execution of adaptation of these premises at the JALA-MORENO architecture office. This adaptation of the premises will allow the location of both the Citizens' Service Office (OAC) and the Tax Management Office of the Diputació de Barcelona (ORGT), as well as the City Council's internal work and storage spaces. With this action, other municipal spaces will be freed up, which will allow for an increase in both the surface available for municipal offices and for the service of the elderly in the Republic building. Once the project has been approved, it is necessary to proceed with the contracting of the works contained therein, which conform to the purpose of this contract. The City Council does not have the technical means or the authorization legal to directly execute the works that make up the object of the contract, which is why it is necessary to proceed with their outsourcing through a public tender procedure.
