Basic Quiropodia Service for members and users of participation centers Active for older people (CPA), dependent on the territorial delegation in Seville of social inclusion, youth, families and equality
The need for the provision of the basic chiropody service in our active participation centers (CPA) is based on the following regulation regulations:
- Article 50 of the Spanish Constitution, which indicates the need for a policy for promoting the welfare of the elderly through a system of social services that address their specific health, housing, culture and leisure problems.
- The Statute of Autonomy for Andalusia, which recognizes in its article 19 that the elderly have the right to receive from the public authorities of Andalusia a comprehensive protection and attention, as well as access to adequate gerontological attention in the health, social and care.
- Law 6/1999, of July 7, of attention and protection of the elderly, which in their articulate contemplates as one of its objectives to prevent and avoid situations of social risk that can lead to situations of abuse and detachment.
The CPA network is regulated in its organization and operation by the decree 72/2012, of March 20, and provides a series of services among which is the basic chiropodia.
