• Description of the service: The purpose of this contract is to provide a specialized technical service to carry out the preventive and corrective maintenance of the generating sets of the Consorci d-Aigües de Tarragona (from now on CAT), with the aim to guarantee their correct operation, their operational availability and the safety of the facilities where they are located. Generating sets are essential equipment to ensure safe and uninterrupted electricity supply in the event of a failure of the general network, especially in critical installations such as the collection, treatment and distribution of drinking water. The service will also include 24/7 technical assistance, waste management, replacement of consumables and annual certification of installations. The generator sets installed have the ability to provide immediate and stable energy by means of a combustion engine coupled to an electric generator, which makes it possible to have energy in critical infrastructures. That's it particularly relevant in automated systems, communications, SCADA and other treatment equipment that need energy to be able to maneuver and stop safely.
