Description:
The construction of the supply dam for the San Pedro Manrique Region is declared of general interest of the State and included in the Hydrological Plans of the Ebro Basin horizons 2010-2015, 2016-2021 and 2022-2027.

In the aforementioned Annex II.- List of investments, structured by basins, referring to the Ebro Basin, appears the "Regulation of the Linares River", which refers to the Project at hand.
Manrique is supplied with surface water from the Mayor River, without the need to drive the water, but rather the conduction is by gravity, and thus be able to satisfy the increase in needs that currently occur in this nucleus.
