- Description of the service: Execution of the forest work actions described in the Forest Fire Prevention Plan in the urbanizations and population centers (PPU), drawn up by the Provincial Council of Barcelona. The aforementioned Plan covers the whole of actions that need to be carried out in the protective outer vegetation strip of the population center of Sant Joan de Vilatorrada -Urban core-, with the aim of improving the safety of people, homes and infrastructures, and reducing the risk of spread of a fire from the inner areas of the population center towards the outer areas. Therefore, the work will be carried out according to the technical conditions described in the aforementioned PPU, drawn up by the Diputació de Barcelona, approved by the Plenum of the corporation held on June 26, 20025, definitively approved with publication in the BOPB on July 18, 2025. The approved plan documentation will be published on the contractor's profile. Although the Plan contemplates the actions to be executed in the entire strip of outer vegetation protecting the center of Sant Joan de Vilatorrada, the work will be carried out in two phases: - Spring 2026 and Spring 2027, in accordance with the plan contained in annex 1 of this specification, where it is differentiated with a layout in green the works of phase 1 (year 2026) and in orange the works to be executed in phase 2 (year 2027).
