• The actions planned in the construction project “ADAPTATION TO THE FLOOD RISK OF THE BARXETA CANYON. PHASE II” is declared of General Interest, as it is included in the list of investments of the Annex II of the National Hydrological Plan, approved by Law 10/2001, of July 5, with the name “Conditioning of the Júcar river between Carcaixent and the A-7 highway.” Actions included in the program measures of the Flood Risk Management Plan for the Hydrographic Demarcation of the Júcar. A reinforced concrete protection wall is projected, leading the waters towards an mouth where has planned a low water channel in order to divert the environmental flow of the Barxeta to the low drainage work the CV-41, equipped with a gate. The rest of the flow is channeled through the new channel of the Barxeta ravine, Its renaturalization is planned by widening the existing channel and covering the slopes with topsoil and breakwater, until the junction with the Camí de l'Horta, which resolves through a typology structure frame. The pass provides continuity to the existing crossing over the Barxeta and allows access to the center of Carcaixent and the path located on the left bank of the old Barxeta riverbed.
