• The provision of a Service to control and combat the plague of Rhynchophorus Ferrugineus (red weevil) in the green areas of municipal ownership, through preventive, palliative and curative treatments aimed at the conservation of palm trees in an appropriate state of health for its survival, and whose priority is to make the existing palm grove sustainable and viable, preserving it as far as possible from the attack of the red weevil pest. At the same time, it is intended that the measures against red weevil are as respectful as possible with the existing environment, applying treatments that are harmless to people, pets and compatible with the proximity of the Mar Menor, avoiding products that could contaminate the waters of said sea. In In this sense, the document will develop the fight against the red weevil plague through endotherapy applications and biological control treatments. 1 -Palmaceae Treatment through the Endotherapy System Phytosanitary treatment of palm trees means of endotherapy (injection into the trunk of the palm tree). The active ingredient/composition of the treatment will be Emamectin Benzoate 9.5% (AL) P/V., and its persistence must be at least one year.
