Description:
Description of the service: In the framework of the DiLTET (Local Device for School-Work Transition), the Education Service of the Montcada i Reixac City Council, through the agreement signed with the Department of Education of the Generalitat, collaborates by offering secondary education centers the possibility of doing practical training for 3rd year ESO students that is part of the unique project of the centers (curriculum diversification programs). This is a professional taste with the following objectives:- Motivate students in order to keep them in the education system and prevent possible situations of absenteeism.- Increase expectations of educational success, increasing confidence in themselves and in their possibilities.- Favor learning the skills and knowledge of the curriculum of the stage through practical and manipulative activities.- Discover new skills and interests in students.- Acquire basic skills in the professional field.- Guide students to through practical training on trades, in this case, on the profession of cook (this training is a proposal of the three tastings that are carried out during the school year).
