- Description:
- The scope of the Framework Contract concerns the provision of Design and Manufacturing of Remote Handling Assembly Tools and Systems. The procurement of RH Systems will include: 1.First of a Kind RH Systems with simplified configurations for the ITER machine assembly (no radiation) and, 2.RH systems with full configurations for the ITER nuclear operations. Before embarking on the procurement of the RH Systems needed for the ITER nuclear operations, it is foreseen to design and manufacture a series of simplified First of a Kind (FOAK) systems to be used to install components during machine assembly and beyond, up until the moment the level of radiation impedes their use and the related hands-on assistance. The primary subject of this Framework Contract will be the design and manufacturing of the FOAK systems. However, additional needs that are not classified as PIA/PIC for services and supplies related to the procurement of the RH systems for the ITER nuclear operations may also be procured under this Framework Contract. Divertor RH System (DRHS), Cask and Plug RH System (CPRHS) and Neutral Beam RH System (NBRHS) are included in the scope of this Framework Contract.
