- The need for this contract is based on the fact that the electricity supply is necessary for the San Javier City Council to comply and carry out its institutional purposes in accordance with the powers established in Law 7/1985, of April 2, regulatory ofThe bases of the local regime, being necessary to seek offers in the liberalized market of electrical energy subject to free competition, being able to opt for the consumer by that marketer that makes an offer more appropriate to their interests and consumption structure, with prices andmore favorable supply conditions as established by Law 24/2013, of December 26, of the electricity sector.
It is why the hiring of the electricity supply must be carried out in the liberalized market through the figure of an electric power marketer, therefore, theSan Javier City Council, as an electric power consumer, having 271 low voltage supply points and 9 medium voltage supplies, must be awarded through the corresponding contracting procedure the energy supply for the operation of the various dependenciesand municipal facilities as well as to provide the public lighting service.
