Description:
The purpose of this service is the realization of the external personal dosimetry of the CIEMAT workers classified as exposed workers.
The Regulation on Health Protection against Risks arising from exposure to ionizing radiation (R.D. 1029/2022, BOE 12/21/2022) establishes in its article 32 "individual surveillance" that "the external individual dosimetry of the exposed workers will be made from the dosimetric data provided by the personal dosimetry services expressly authorized by the Nuclear Safety Council (CSN)". The individual surveillance of CIEMAT workers is carried out monthly by means of personal body dosimeters (dosimeter bodily) and limb dosimeters (ring dosimeter), this last type of dosimeter in case it applies by the characteristics of los works to develop.
Therefore, these dosimeters must be provided and evaluated by a service of external personal dosimetry authorized by the CSN to legally comply with the objective of the dosimetric surveillance of the CIEMAT workers classified as exposed workers.
