Description:
Please note that this is not a call for tenders but a publication announcing the Contracting authority-s intention to publish a future negotiated low or middle valueprocedure. The objective of this project is to analyze the functioning of the food supply chain in Ukraine and Moldova and draw implications for EU accession. The project should focus on the following issues: (i) the functioning of the food supply chain and adaptation to war conditions, (ii) foreign direct investments in the agri-food sector, (iii) analysis of the role of oligarchs in the food chain, (iv) assessment of the adoption and implementation of food standards, and (v) evaluation of implications for EU accession. The analyses should be based on (i) collected relevant information through structured interviews and/or focus groups with food chain operators/stakeholders from Ukraine, Moldova, and EU operators engaged in trade with Ukraine and Moldova, and (ii) data available from official statistical sources.
