- Description of the service: The object of this contract is the aerial treatment service by helicopter to carry out the 2026 black fly control campaign, which is carried out in the lower section of the Ebre and Segre rivers and the Catalan section of the river Cinca. The campaign planned for the year 2026 will be developed in accordance with a strategy that has been confirmed effective, that is, based on larval control of the species, which is achieved by distributing an insecticide in the river waters. To do this treatment, a helicopter with sufficient capacity is needed and that allows it to act precisely over a territorial area that goes from the town of Ascó to the end of the Decentralized Municipal Entity of Campredó, in the case of the Ebre River, of Lleida to Granja d'Escarp, in the case of the Segre river, and Massalcoreig for the Cinca river.
