- The purpose of this contract is the provision of 5G SA connectivity services and specialized equipment to evaluate and validate the capacities of fifth generation networks in the field of emergency communications, within the framework of the 5G Emergencies project. The contract includes The following services and deliverables:
1. 5G SA connectivity services (standalone) for critical communications, including:
- Network Slicing and QOs implementation to ensure traffic prioritization in emergency services.
- MCX Services Configuration (MCPTT, MCVIDEO, MCDATA) according to 3GPP standards.
- Interoperability with the existing tetra network.
2. Tactical display of coverage extension, by service of:
- Mobile solutions (Cell on Wheels - Cow) for areas without public network coverage.
- Isolated private networks (tactical bubbles) for Operations in critical environments.
3. Specialized equipment supply and configuration:
- Rugerized terminals (smartphones and tablets) with 5G support and MCX applications.
- IoT devices for environmental and biometric monitoring.
- 4x4 emergency vehicle equipped with communications systems redundant (5g, satellite, tetra).
4. Execution of pilot tests to validate:
- Network performance in urban, suburban and rural stages.
- Resilience in conditions of congestion and mobility with itinerance between networks.
- Interoperability between technologies (5g-tetra).
