The contract pursues compliance with the objectives set in Law 7/2021, of May 20, on Climate Change and Energy Transition, specifically what is included in its article 7 regarding the promotion of reversible hydroelectric plants, and the objectives included in the Integrated National Plan of energy and climate 2021-2030 (PNIEC), and in its update for the period 2023-2030.
