The Cubillos del Sil Technology Development Center of the City of Energy Foundation - CIUDEN F.S.P., requires an experimental platform for the production of sustainable synthetic fuels (CSS), such as SAF, biocarbons and other derivatives of green hydrogen and captured co₂. This need arises from the growing importance of chemical storage of energy "in the form of molecules ", also called chemical storage, in such a way that it is likely to be used at another posterior time. The platform will focus on CSS synthesis using fischer-trotpsch technology, using syngas generated from biomass, green hydrogen and co₂ biogenic. It will also allow advanced technological routes and hybridize with other energy storage systems already available in the center.
The solution must include the supply, installation and commissioning of all the necessary equipment and systems, integrating with the infrastructure existing, under criteria of energy efficiency, waste minimization and reuse of resources.
