Description:
The purpose of the contract is the contracting of a pool of hours of computer services aimed at the development of new functionalities related to the management of research at the University of Barcelona (UB). The University of Barcelona has with a set of applications developed internally for research management grouped under the name SIRA. Currently, SIRA is in operation at both the UB and the University of the Balearic Islands (UIB) and is planned to be upcoming implementation in other institutions. On the other hand, the University of Barcelona is carrying out a significant review of the Academic Dedication Plan (PDA), which involves substantial modifications to SIRA to expand the evaluation process of research and also include the evaluation of Teaching Innovation and Dissemination. These adaptations will lead to an increase in the workload for the internal ATIC group, in charge of supporting and maintaining the applications for both the UB and the other user institutions, a fact that could have an impact on the postponement or impossibility of executing other development projects in this area.
