- The Public Company Railroads of the Generalitat Valenciana, FGV onwards, has entrusted the operation and maintenance of the railway and tram lines dedicated to the transport of travelers
dependent on the Generalitat Valenciana. Within the maintenance that is done by FGV, it isFind
the essential installation of high voltage energy necessary to perform its commercial operability.
High voltage facilities are designed for the transport, distribution and transformation of electrical energy with its associated systems. They are characterized by thecritical impact that has its operation on the safety of people and the trains commercial service, being necessary a very high availability of most of its elements to guarantee its continuity, availability, and reliability.
For the electrical energy facilities inHigh voltage is compliance, Royal Decree 337/2014 of
May 9, which approves the regulation on technical conditions and safety guarantees in high voltage electrical installations. In it, it is established in its complementary technical instruction ITC-RAT 22 the obligation that theOwners of the affected facilities sign a maintenance contract
with an installation company for high voltage facilities, in which it is responsible for maintaining
