Description:
The procurement of the Heating Neutral Beam (HNB) Drift Ducts (DD) consists in the Drift Duct Bellows and the Drift Duct Liner and is based on a Build-to-Print (BtP). Additional tools necessary for the Factory Acceptance Tests are also part of the procurement and are designed up to built-to-print level by IO. Finally, few equipment (tools, jigs, fixtures, test bench, but also the Mineral Insulated cables) will be designed and delivered by the supplier. The DD parts have been designed and shall be manufactured in accordance with (EN 14917) for the bellows, SDC-IC for the DD Liner (the manufacturing requirements are defined in the Annex B) and RCC-MR 2007 (class 2). The NB DD is classified ITER Quality Class 1 and ITER Safety Class 1, PED Cat I and ESPN Level N3. The main dimensions and weight of the Drift Duct are Diameter: 2900 mm, Length: 1900 mm and Weight: 6.7 t. Based on these Build-to-Print specifications, the scope of work of the supplier includes, mainly: 1. Manufacturing engineering; 2. Procurement; 3. Manufacturing, testing and cleaning; 4. Factory acceptance testing; 5. Packaging and shipment to a Site in the European Union; 6. Documentation.
