• Description of the service: Poboleda Town Council has a sports area at the northern end of the town centre, in the area called Els Masons, where the municipal swimming pool, a gymnasium with changing rooms and a multi-sports court are located. The court polysportiva, works have recently been carried out to adapt the space to adapt it to a climate shelter through the construction of a cover, with the intention that this municipal equipment for public use becomes a space that provides a climatic comfort and that it is possible to act in an emergency situation generated by the heat, especially for the most vulnerable people and for all the residents of Poboleda and, at the same time, throughout the year, other activities of interest can be developed there public. Once this phase of works is completed, the aim is to address the improvement and expansion of the sports playing surface, which has deteriorated greatly due to the passage of time and the execution of the works recently carried out, improving the conditions for the practice of sports and access to the same track. The current track has a North-South orientation, to the north it is bordered by the dressing room building, to the east it runs parallel to Carrer del Calvari, to the south with an agricultural farm and, to the east, with the Bar and the swimming pool.
