- Description of the service: The subject of this contract is the contracting of the service of collection, care and custody of abandoned or lost pets and the management of feral cat colonies recognized by the town councils and the Regional Council. service will be provided in accordance with the obligations established by Legislative Decree 2/2008, of April 15, which approves the revised text of the Animal Protection Law and Law 7/2023, of March 28, on the protection of the rights and welfare of animals, and they include, among others: - Service of capturing and/or collection of lost and abandoned pets. - Collection service of pets involved in administrative and/or judicial procedures. - Collection service for found pets dead on roads or public spaces.- Custody service for collected pets, at the Pet Reception Center owned by the County Council, until return to the owner, adoption, or death, whether natural or by euthanasia by veterinary prescription.- Custody service for pets surrendered by the owners to the Consell Comarcal de la Garrotxa.- Temporary custody service for homeless animals or whose owners cannot care for them due to situations of vulnerability previously authorized by the Garrotxa Regional Council. - Control and follow-up of feral cat colonies recognized by the town councils and Regional Council and of those that may be established in the future.- ...
