- In order to reduce the risk of flooding in the urban area of Los Alcazares, a hydraulic system composed of 2 phases is being designed. In this phase 1, the works for the development of the urban canal along Avenida de Munoz Zambudio for flow transportation are contracted. evacuated by the flood park that will be developed in phase 2 in episodes of floods and social enjoyment the rest of the time, ordering the evacuation of surface runoff to the Mar Menor lagoon seeking to reduce the load of solids and the current discharge area. PHASE 1. CHANNELING RUNOFF ACROSS MUNOZ ZAMBUDIO AVENUE TO THE MOUTH. T.M. LOS ALCAZARES (MURCIA) The actions to be carried out consist of the demolition of the existing road to adapt it to the new road configuration, execution of an open-air channel combining concrete walls reinforced, and slopes protected by vegetated breakwater at foot and intermediate berms protected in turn by masonry walls at the top of the slope (1,243 m approx.), replacement of affected services, roads and horizontal and vertical signage and socio-environmental adaptation.
