• Description of the provision: The project not only seeks to preserve the mining vestiges, but also to turn them into a cultural, educational and tourist asset that contributes to the economic dynamism of the municipality and the reinforcement of local identity. objectives pursued by the action, on the one hand, it aims to guarantee the safety and accessibility of the space, through the consolidation of structural elements and the improvement of accesses and, on the other hand, to generate an interpretive itinerary that allows the visitors to understand the history of mining, its impact on the territory and its relationship with local development. In addition, we want to promote the connection of this space with other natural and cultural resources of the municipality, integrating it within of a network of itineraries that enrich the tourist and educational offer of the Pont de Suert. The planned actions include the cleaning and adaptation of the environment, the signposting of points of interest, the installation of information panels, the consolidation of unique mining structures and the creation of a small reception area or viewpoint. The total budget of the project "Valorization and revitalization of the geological and mining heritage around the Malpàs coal mines as a local development tool" has formulated in 41,299.99 Euros Base, 8,673.00 Euros of VAT at the rate of 21% and 49,972.99 Euros total.
