The purpose of this project contest is the selection of a proposal for the memorial of Cazamuros, in San Lorenzo de El Escorial (Madrid) that, for its artistic, architectural quality, functionality, sustainability and innovation, as well as its technical and economic viability, is selected by the jury, constituted for this purpose, as the most suitable when responding to the criteria of Assessment defined in the specific administrative clauses (PCAP) and the needs program contained in the specific technical prescriptions (PPTP), with the purpose of developing the resignification proposal of the Cazgamuros Valley, which will include:
The project of resignification of the monumental complex.
The design and construction of an interpretation center.
The musealization proposal.
The proposal for restoration and architectural adaptation of the elements of the monumental complex that will be used.
