• Description of the service: Sant Adrià de Besòs City Council (hereafter the City Council) owns more than 40 low-voltage electrical installations located in different municipal facilities (schools, libraries, administrative buildings, cultural, etc...) for which it is mandatory to perform maintenance with installation companies authorized according to Royal Decree 842/2002, of August 2, which approves the Electrotechnical Regulation for low voltage (REBT), in order to contribute to the reliability of the operation of the essential electrical energy distribution system and the safety of the people who use them and who are also required to carry out a periodic inspection every five (5) years by a Control Organization (OC). It is The subject of this document is the regulation of the contracting of the services necessary for the maintenance and the corresponding work of the LV electrical installations of the municipal buildings and equipment of the City Council, in order to: • Preserve the safety of the people and property in municipal buildings and equipment.• Ensure the normal operation of these facilities and prevent disturbances or impacts on other facilities and services.• Contribute to technical reliability and efficiency energy and economic of these facilities.
