Description:
Description of the service: Creation of a multi-functional space at the Local Social of Freixinet in order to offer tourist information point services and the village pantry. An action is proposed in the Sala de la Llar de foc of the Local Social of Freixinet, with the aim of enabling two distinct spaces: the "People's Pantry" and the Information Point. This room has an approximate surface area of 66 m2. The "People's Pantry" will be located in the multipurpose room and will be designed so that it can function independently from the rest of the space. Wooden shelves will be installed and modular displays, easily adaptable according to the season and the type of products to be displayed. In addition, it is planned to add refrigerators and refrigerated displays to ensure optimal preservation of food products. This space will be intended for the presentation of local products, already that it is planned to have a new desk for organizing workshops and presentations, thus favoring a complete sensory experience and encouraging local consumption. In accordance with the values of the project, priority will be given to the use of certified wood furniture, preferably with seals such as the PEFC (which accredits sustainable forest management) or the Ecolabel, which guarantees respect for environmental and social criteria throughout the product's life cycle.
