• The project includes the construction of the facilities pending execution contemplated in the "Project for the completion of the Santona-Laredo-Colindres interceptor collector. Santona-Laredo section, including the subfluvial tunnel, from the entrance work (Laredo) to the pumping station (Santona), that allows the passage of the general collector under the estuary. RIVER CONNECTION PROJECT FOR SANTONA MARSHALS BETWEEN LAREDO AND SANTONA (CANTABRIA) "The works consist of: - Subfluvial entrance work (Laredo). It is completed. The general interceptor collector is incorporated into this installation and the subfluvial tunnel starts from it. It is a circular well with an internal radius of 6.0 m and a useful depth of 18.0 m, in which the siphon loading chamber, the collection and emergency relief work, and the vertical branches at the beginning of the siphon are located. In this infrastructure, The tunnel drilling schedule is planned. Functionally, it is divided into two areas, the wet and the dry, both accessible, with their corresponding installations and devices, including the siphon outlet pipes. The collection and relief work consists of a conduit that connects directly with the estuary, so that the tide level is reproduced inside the entrance work that communicates with the branches of the siphon.
