- Description of the service: The EPAMB is a survey aimed at the user population aged 15 and over of the beaches of the AMB (except in Barcelona city), between the months of May and September. Title of work: Employment and User Satisfaction Survey of the Beaches of the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona (EPAMB) 2026. Description of the study: The study determines the total number of users who occupy the sand on all the beaches of the metropolitan area of Barcelona (except in Barcelona city) during summer season (from May to September), as well as the profile of its users, their usage habits and their assessment of the services it offers. Entity commissioning the work: Institut Metròpoli. Date of the work: 2026 Periodicity: quadrennial. Methodology of survey: CAPI with previous counts. Territorial scope: coinciding with the beaches of the municipalities of Montgat, Badalona, Sant Adrià del Besòs, El Prat de Llobregat, Viladecans, Gavà and Castelldefels.
