Description:
Description of the provision: Within the framework of the Prepast project, it is planned to carry out silvicultural actions in order to reduce the forest load of certain municipal ownership, included in the existing forest planning instruments in the municipality and in protective figures. Special such as the PEIN and the Natura 2000 Network. The selected stands are part of strategic management areas for the protection of the natural environment in front of forest fires, defined by the Fire Brigade of the Generalitat de Catalunya. Located in the area of the Portell ravine (C4A and C4B stands) in the CUP L-24 Montsec and in the strategic area of Vilamajor, in the CUP L-21a Les Aspres (A3E, A4C and A5C). Activity is considered an effective management and maintenance tool to give continuity over time to this management, since through the ecosystem pasture the maintenance of these plots is carried out.
