In accordance with the provisions of article 28 of the LCSP, the University of Cantabria will conclude those contracts that are necessary for the fulfillment and realization of its institutional purposes.
The University of Cantabria to promote the efficiency of public spending, a principle embodied in the Exhibition of reasons for Law 9/2017, of November 8, on public sector contracts and respect for the principles of equal treatment, not discrimination, transparency, proportionality and integrity, promotes this SDA of laboratory material and equipment in order to rationalize the Current purchase and public spending, considering that it is a regular and current supply, whose characteristics make it possible to be easily carried out by operators that exist in the market, so that the public interest will always be satisfied, in accordance with the established by art. 223 et seq. of the LCSP.
The rationalization procedure constitutes an opportunity for change, generator of benefit for both suppliers and for the administration itself: greater comfort in processing, elimination of displacements with the corresponding savings of time and money, increase in transparency, greater concurrence and participation of the regional business fabric and the opening of the market.
