Description:
FGV staff travel daily within
the network as part of their functions within the work scope of their jobs at FGV,
needing vehicles other than the railway itself, since it is necessary to transport material and
tools, or scroll to points on the network that do not have a stop, among others.
Its overflow caused the flooding of a large part of the
facilities and equipment of the Valencia Sud complex, headquarters of Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat
This flood swept away and disabled most of the vehicles that Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat
Valenciana provides maintenance and operation management activities.
As a consequence of this loss, and immediately, Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat Valenciana put out to tender
file E24/101 "EMERGENCY CONTRACT FOR THE PROVISIONAL SUPPLY OF
RENTING OF ROAD VEHICLES, CAUSED BY THE ACCIDENT OF THE VEHICLES
AFFECTED BY THE OVERFLOW OF THE BARRANDO DEL POYO. Said file establishes a
service provision period of 1 year, with its end date being December 2, 2025.
