• The final objective of this project is to define the solution to alleviate drainage problems as a consequence of the contribution of flows to the surroundings of the town of Villaviciosa by the eastern streams (Pedregal, Cuartel, Alosei and Manzana mainly) as they pass through said municipal area. This problem affects the hydraulic behavior and stormwater evacuation system of the population in times of flooding, which is increased by the proximity of the Villaviciosa estuary. SUSTAINABLE DRAINAGE AND RENATURALIZATION PROJECT OF THE EASTERN STREAMS (PEDREGAL, CUARTEL, ALOSEI AND BLOCK) CORE OF VILLAVICIOSA, AS IT PASSES THROUGH THE MUNICIPAL DISTRICT OF VILLAVICIOSA (ASTURIAS) "The actions to be carried out in the project can be divided into the following blocks: 1.- Naturalized main reception channel. Execution of a naturalized channel to capture the flow of the streams intercepted by it, with an estimated length of 2,224 m, beginning its route on the AS-332 to the vicinity of the A-8, to channel the drainage through the existing conduits that circulate under this highway towards the Villaviciosa estuary through reliefs to the channels and/or the current conduits.
