- The 2nd area of exploitation of the Tajo Hydrographic Confederation is assigned the management, exploitation, conservation and maintenance of the dams of Burguillo, Charco del Cura, San Juan, Picadas, Cazalegas, Finisterre, El Castro, Rosarito, Navalcan and Balsa de Alcolea, distributed in the Provinces of Avila, Madrid, Toledo and Caceres.
According to Royal Decree 264/2021, of April 13, which approves the Technical Safety Standards for Dam Chapter II Exploitation, Section VI. Exploitation standards: "The exploitation rules must be updated when circumstances that require changes that do not alter essential aspects of their content, and will be reviewed when relative circumstances arise when relative circumstances arise when they arise when relative circumstances arise to the security that advises the introduction of essential changes in them. Those who may affect the security conditions of the dam will be considered essential aspects. "
The exploitation rules of the different dams dated their latest version in: Burguillo-2006, Charco del Cura-2006, San Juan-2006, Picadas-2006, Cazalegas-2004, Finisterre-2004, El Castro-2004, Rosarito-2006, Navalcan-2006 and Balsa de Alcolea-2009.
