• The Object of the Contract Is the Provision of the Necessary Services for the Analysis, Adaptation, Transformation and Implementation of the Programs Currently Developed in the 4Gl Language for a Future Technological Change to a 4th Generation Engine Agnostic Language Database. This Service Includes, By way of statement but not limitation: • The Study Of The Architecture And Functionalities Of Existing Systems In 4Gl. • The Definition of the Adaptation Strategy and the Work Plan. • The Review of the 4Gl Source Code, Ensuring its compatibility and maintaining the original functionality without having dependencies on the database engine. • The Adaptation of Components, User Interfaces and Data Access With the New Development Strategy. • The Realization Of Technical and functional tests to guarantee the quality and correct operation of the current systems. • Implementation in the Corresponding Environments (Development, Pre-production and Production). • The Technical Documentation Associated with the Adaptation Process. • The Technical Support During the Transition and Stabilization Period. The final objective is to guarantee an efficient, safe adaptation with minimal operational impact, ensuring the continuity of the service and the improvement of the maintenance and future evolution of the systems.
