- Description:
- The CHS has more than 350 personal computers, 267 laptops, 139 printers, 19 physical servers (8 of them are used for virtualization infrastructure), 63 virtual servers including production, testing and monitoring. The number of users is 448 from CHS, to which we must add more than 400 external users, including: personnel from different technical assistance and projects and personnel from other administrations that access CHS data. The computer equipment is distributed between the Plaza Fontes and Calle Acisclo Díaz headquarters in Murcia, as well as in all the remote centers (Orihuela and Hellín offices, reservoirs, drives, workshop and daycare river). Taking into account the functions assigned to the IT Service, and the personnel available to it, it is clear that the available technical personnel is clearly insufficient to carry out these tasks. With currently available personnel It would not be possible to maintain the installed systems, servers, personal computers, printers and network and communications equipment, nor guarantee the security, integrity and availability of the data on its systems of information. It would also not be possible to make improvements in the services that are currently offered to users. Therefore, according to the above, it is considered necessary to find solutions to this situation...
