Description:
The dams of the Turia River and the Main Canal of the Campo del Turia are infrastructures whose exploitation is in charge of the Jucar Hydrographic Confederation assigned to said infrastructures, although it also carries out ordinary maintenance tasks, it is fundamentally dedicated to the tasks of ordinary and extraordinary exploitation, surveillance and inspection.
Larger or specialized maintenance is undertaken through external means contracted for this purpose, as occurs with improvements and repairs of some importance. Among these maintenance jobs there are some that have periodic character.
This service contract is proposed, therefore, as support for the ordinary maintenance carried out by the Jucar Hydrographic Confederation's own personnel and in the case of larger or specialized maintenance that is periodic in nature, as a means of economize administrative procedures in contracting and guarantee resources.
The administrative needs to be satisfied through the present contracting of services are to be able to fulfill the functions provided for said infrastructures in adequate safety conditions, carrying out adequate maintenance and conservation of them.
Likewise, it is necessary to have the necessary means to carry out rapid interventions in response to various emergency situations that may occur there.
