• Description of the provision: Bellpuig City Council needs to improve the filtering facilities of the municipality's Drinking Water Treatment Plant (ETAP), through a set of renovation actions consisting of:- Replace the current system of pressure filters for two continuous washing sand filters, each with a nominal flow rate of 60 m³/h, which allow operation without washing stops and ensure coverage of the design flow rate of 120 m³/h established in the hydraulic dimensioning of the ETAP.- Install a new contact and mixing tank, where the oxidation and coagulation operations are carried out, ensuring an adequate retention time and correct homogenization before filtration.- Renovate and adapt the hydraulic lines associated with the pretreatment, filtration and pumping of treated water, guaranteeing its functionality and adequacy to service conditions.- Integrate new instrumentation and control elements, including flow measurement, turbidity and automatic dosing of reagents, to improve the operation and monitoring of the process.- Ensure compliance with the technical-sanitary criteria of Royal Decree 3/2023, improving the quality of the water supplied and the reliability of the installation in situation of ordinary and peak demand.
