Description:
Description of the provision: The object of this contract is the execution of the works defined in the basic and executive functional rehabilitation project of the bell tower of the Castell-Collegiate Church of Sant Pere d'Àger, with the aim of correcting the pathologies existing, guarantee the conservation of the heritage asset and restore the operation of the hood and the bells, while ensuring adequate conditions of safety, maintenance and use. Specifically, the objectives of the contract are the following:- Consolidate and restore the structures of the bell tower, through cleaning, sanitation, grouting and consolidation of the stone facings, with the aim of eliminating the main pathologies detected (cracks, loss of material, moisture and degradation superficial) and guarantee the structural stability of the element.- Functionally rehabilitate the bell tower, recovering its original use by restoring the historic bells, replacing obsolete and inadequate installations, and installation of a new support and automation system that allows the correct operation of the ringing of the bells in conditions of safety and respect for heritage.- Relocating the bells to their historic location in the spade, in accordance with criteria historical, constructive and functional, thus contributing to the recovery of the architectural and symbolic reading of the bell tower within the monumental ensemble.- Improve the conditions of conservation and maintenance of the bell tower, mi...
